The course meets the needs of mature disciplined artists wishing to develop work through interaction with professional practising staff and an informed, ambitious peer group; full-time, home-based and overseas students are provided with a studio space and attend all seminars; part-time students work from their own studios outside the University, and use faculty facilities for practical and presentation purposes; this allows them to organise work patterns between their studios and the University at times best suited to themselves; the mandatory weekly seminars are set at a time when all students and staff are able to attend.
