Course focuses on technology and design and core business and management skills; the first 2 semesters concentrate on developing understanding of how individuals make choices, how society influences and is shaped by those choices; students also develop understanding of contemporary technologies for networked presentation and communication and the technical skills needed to participate fully in online communities; in the final 2 semesters, students focus on the application of design and technology to new business development; study of design leads to the detailed study of new business development, and students apply their knowledge of key business skills (marketing, finance, and planning) to a team-based environmental challenge.
