Year 3: in the 3rd year the programme looks at wider strategic and philosophical issues of a contemporary nature, including the impact of legislation and social trends on childcare provision; the broader European and global contexts within modules are also examined; a choice from specialist options can be made which is relevant to personal interests or intended employment; a substantial dissertation on a topic of personal choice related to children is produced.
