The module in professional practice challenges students to produce creatively outstanding and professional work through a choice of assignments; in the professional studies module students are required to work on projects that are more innovative and experimental; work that pushes the boundaries of their experience and knowledge; student study is supported by a research led module that aims to further develop contextual and contemporary awareness whilst enhancing professional understanding; the outcome for this module takes the form of a professionally structured report together with a presentation to their peer group; the culmination of the year is a self initiated final project in each students specific area of study; they are lectured in how to develop a project brief; setting clear aims and objectives and negotiating deliverables; throughout the year critical reflection is encouraged through self evaluation of all practical assignments.
