The LLB (Hons) Law is very different to a traditional three-year law degree. It’s designed to be the most relevant and rounded degree-level education available to help you achieve your career ambitions – the first truly professional three-year undergraduate law degree. 
 
Combining academic rigour with practical legal skills, in a business-like environment, our LLB provides you with the essential groundwork whether you’re committed to being a lawyer or want to explore other career options.  You can explore your preferred career path while gaining the specific skills that your prospective employers will be looking for and spreading the cost of your investment in your future.
 

Typical LLB class size

Workshops: 20 students
Large groups: 60 – 180 students
 

Face-to-face tuition

Nine contact hours, on average, per teaching week for each year of your course. 
You will have approximately 16 hours of face to face teaching per week in the first term of year one and the final terms of year two and three.
 

Employability workshops

At least 48 hours will be devoted to employability through a mixture of practical activities, taught workshops and large group sessions. The activities are designed to develop valuable skills that will be of use in the workplace and to enhance your knowledge of the world of work.
