For those entering or already in the teaching profession in the post compulsory sector and in a full teaching/training role and want to achieve Qualified Teacher Status Lifelong Learning Sector (QTLS); there are 4 modules per year with the thread of professional practice development in both years and there are 8 assessed observations of practice by the teacher trainers, subject mentors and peers on the programme over the 2 years duration; this is then linked to theoretical inputs on the attended programme which are in the following: planning and enabling learning, learning and assessment, curriculum development, technology supported learning and context related learning.
