The course covers: Contemporary women's studies including key debates and different theoretical positions; contemporary women's issues (including work, the law, family, social policy, art, music, media and cultural representations and more); praxis: the combination of theoretical understandings with practice and activism (researching women's lives through a combination of theory and practice); and culminates with the dissertation.
