Entry requirements

Applicants should have obtained a qualifying law degree (minimum 2:2), or have passed the Common Professional Examination, and have satisfied the Bar Council's requirements, to embark on the vocational stage of training as a barrister; all students admitted to the course must join an Inn of Court; students whose 1st language is not English must be able to demonstrate their ability to study in the English language; English language requirements - IELTS 7.5 with 6.5 in each element/263 with 25 in each element or equivalent.

Location

Northumbria University is located right in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne –one of the UK’s best student cities.
