Students take modules to a total value of 180 credits comprising 60 credits of generic social science research training; 60 credits of discipline-specific training including bilingualism and bilingual education, language and cross-cultural communication, interaction in social and professional contexts, discourse analysis, teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL), language acquisition and disorder; and a 60-credit research project.
