A University of Wales Lampeter BD Honours degree or a Newbold College Open University-validated BA Honours biblical and pastoral studies degree; a University of Wales Lampeter licence in theology with an average weighted score of at least 60%; students graduating with a lower weighted average may be profiled by the Course Board into the postgraduate certificate stage; a 4-year degree in theology or similar from the Newbold College Pastoral Education Programme (PEP), Adriatic Union College, Belgrade Theological Seminary, Hungarian Theological Seminary, Campus adventiste du Salève, Seminar Schloss Bogenhofen, or a 4-year US degree with a theology concentration including a biblical language; for all these a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.00 is required; students graduating with a cumulative GPA between 2.67 and 2.99 may be profiled by the Course Board into the postgraduate certificate stage; an Honours degree in religious studies or equivalent from a European university normally permits entry; at least a year of Hebrew or Greek and a structured and supervised field placement; students whose undergraduate degree does not include a supervised ministry placement will need to have successfully completed a full year of pastoral experience or equivalent, or they will be required to complete a field placement concurrent with part one of their postgraduate studies; applicants whose 1st language is not English require IELTS 6.5 with no sub-test below 6.0.; MTELP score of 90; TOEFL paper-based 550, computer-based 213; CAE grade B; CPE grade C.
