Students require a mixture of creative, technical and management skills; relevant industry knowledge is beneficial; background in a related field in the arts, games or other media, and technically and operationally competent in the use of computers; recent graduates and industry professional accepted; applications should be supported by a critical analysis of the use of special and/or visual effects in a film or television programme of your choice plus a portfolio/examples of work: this need not demonstrate experience in effects and is optional for those who do not have a background in film/television.
