Entry requirements
Honours degree (normally minimum 2.2) in a relevant discipline, such as home economics, consumer science or other food-based area, or in some aspect of textiles design or textiles technology, together with some knowledge, skills and understanding of the design process; practical ability with food and/or textiles is essential, as are a good knowledge of relevant safety procedures and an enthusiasm for developing pupils' knowledge and understanding of food and textiles as design materials; candidates with relevant graduate-equivalent professional qualifications are considered and are encouraged to apply; overseas candidates should have Cambridge Proficiency in English, IELTS Band 7 or Pitmans Advanced English; enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check; interview.
