This is a combined Honours course which allows the student to study 2 subjects at degree level; the childhood and youth studies course uses a multi-disciplinary, social science approach to the study of children and young people; it has a commitment to reflexive practice and learning; the dance course celebrates innovation, drive and new perspectives on dance; the course encourages the student to improve and grow in dance and to become a thinking dancer; studies include: exploring contextual and analytical issues in dance; taking part in practical performance classes; creating and performing in choreographed works; utilising notation as a means of documenting, analysing and developing practical work; this combined course is studied at the Cheshire Alsager and Crewe Campuses.
