The course has been designed for recent computing graduates and mature applicants with extensive relevant work-related experience who want to further and/or formalise their expertise to the highly recognised master level; its aim is to provide a specific set of the computing body of knowledge, technical and soft skills with particular emphasis on those areas which are considered as core for a career in the profession; in addition to core modules, a number of optional modules may be selected from other masters programmes in the Faculty of Computing; students are also allowed to transfer to other Master's courses in the Faculty if they develop interests in a specialist area at a later date.
