Students will be introduced to all aspects of design, beginning with underpinning skills in 2-dimensional visual language through to 3-dimensional design, incorporating packaging and 3-dimensional software applications; students will learn how to prepare and present artwork for print and they will design and build web-sites and prepare and produce interactive multimedia CD Roms inserting audio and video; 3-dimensional animation using Maya will also be part of the programme; practical and theoretical work is integrated throughout the course with individual work forming a large part of their studies, supported with workshop, lecture and demonstration.
