Year 1: Students develop the study skills required in higher education; are introduced to the theory and context of management; and learn about the tourism industry. Year 2: Students study management practice; examine the increasingly global nature of business; learn how to become reflective practitioners; and study specialised modules on: managing visitor attractions; tourism transport; and tour operations. Final year: Students study strategic management; complete a dessertation on a topic of their choice; and study specialised modules such as: destination management; niche tourism and marketing for tourism.
