Students are encouraged to develop their own learning objectives; partly through project bases and one-on-one tutorials; the philosophy of the subject route is that each and every student should pursue their aspirations in the ever-expanding photographic fields. Level 2: Modules concentrate on photographic practice; balanced with a free-standing elective chosen from a wide variety of complementary topics; creative ideas; aesthetics and technology play an important part. Level 3: Emphasises responsibility for students own development; students negotiate an individual programme of study; including a major project linked to a final essay.
