You are guaranteed admission to the Master of Arts in Economics program at USF after successfully completing the Graduate Pathway in Economics and meeting all progression requirements.
The Department of Economics is housed in the College of Arts and Sciences. Economics offers a clear and logical way of thinking about complicated issues such as unemployment, inflation, international trade, labor unions, public finance, governmental regulations, antitrust laws, health care, economic aspects of law, urban development, and environmental degradation.

- One semester of Calculus and Statistics
- Secondary-level (intermediate level) courses in Macroeconomics and Microeconomics
