This course is an intensive two or three-term programme of academic subjects, study skills and English language preparation. It has been designed specifically to prepare you for taught masters study at the University. If you do not meet the entry requirements for a masters degree, or want to refresh your language skills and knowledge, our specialist programme is for you. Once you successfully complete your pre-masters at the required level, you are guaranteed entry to a relevant taught postgraduate degree programme.
You can choose one of two pre-masters routes:
- Business, Law and Social Sciences:This will prepare you for a taught postgraduate degree in the Faculty of Social Sciences, including the School of Law or the Management School and a small number of programmes in other Faculties.
- Science and Engineering: This will prepare you for a taught postgraduate degree in the Faculty of Engineering or Faculty of Science and a small number of programmes in other Faculties.

Recognised degree - Must be in a related field for some subjects.
