Programme Aims & Objectives
This programme will equip students with fundamental knowledge and professional skills in information technology to prepare them for work and further studies in several areas of interest related to IT.
Students will learn about software programming, computing and information systems, database structures and technologies for web and computer networks.
Assessment Methods
Each module will be assessed through a combination of class presentations, discussions, assignments, project work and/or written examinations.
Award
Candidates who successfully complete all course work and pass the examinations will be awarded with the International Foundation Diploma in Information Technology from MDIS.
Progression
Upon successful completion of thie programme, students gain entry to Teesside University, UK for the Bachelor of Science (Hons) Information Technology.

Entry requirements
Applicants must be of age 16 and above, and meet ONE of the following requirements:
- Grade 'C6' at GCE ‘O’ Levels in any 2 subjects
- IT-related NITEC or Higher NITEC qualifications
- Completed 10 years of formal education
English Language Requirements:
- C6 pass for English (EL1) at GCE ‘O’ level or equivalent OR
- IELTS 5.5 OR
- English Entrance Test conducted by MDIS OR
- MDIS Professional Certificate in English
Mathematics entry requirement:
- Grade 'C6' at GCE ‘O’ Levels in Mathematics OR
- MDIS Mathematics Entrance Test
