The course has an inter-disciplinary approach and draws on the traditional areas of drawing, painting and print-making as well as photography, digital imaging and graphic design/visual communication; students also foster links with other technologies and disciplines within the field of art and design; throughout the course students develop studio practice to a high level and support this with a thorough understanding of theoretical and professional issues in fine art.
