Current research interests cover mainly symbolic forms of behaviour, application of linguistic theory in Asia, anthropology, analysis of language, kinship, economic and political organisation, with special attention to regional specialisation in Africa, Britain, Europe and Americas; theoretical orientation of current research mainly directed towards interpretation, symbolic interactionalism and phenomenology.
