The Carlson School Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program prepares students to be successful accounting, tax, or finance professionals in a dynamic, global business environment. The MAcc program provides an option for accounting students to meet the required 150 semester hours for licensure while earning a master's degree. For students with a bachelor's degree in an academic discipline other than accounting, the MAcc provides the necessary courses to sit for the CPA examination in Minnesota while earning a master's degree.

Despite the fact that the capital of Minnesota is St. Paul, the largest and most famous culturally in the state still is Minneapolis.
