The MSc SIM considers the whole strategic process of managing innovations within companies and between companies. Our programme is structured around the following four topics: (1) where does innovation come from; (2) how can the firm organise internally for innovation; (3) how and with whom should the firm cooperate to maximise innovation; and (4) how can the firm capture value from innovation? All of our courses are designed and executed by a small group of top academic researchers, and our programme is, therefore, strongly research oriented. By introducing students to the state-of-the-art in academic research, the aim of the programme is to give student the necessary tools to properly understand, evaluate and solve real-life cases, and to conduct their own research.
