The University of Groningen has a rich academic tradition dating back to 1614. Out of this tradition rose the first female student and the first female lecturer in the Netherlands, the first Dutch astronaut and the first president of the European Central Bank. This one-year International Foundation programme will help you reach the English language and academic standards you need to start on an undergraduate degree at the University of Groningen. 

The pathway programme includes modules in academic study skills, English language and relevant academic subjects to thoroughly prepare you for degree level study in Holland. At the International Study Centre, you'll gain an invaluable insight into the Dutch education system, levelling the playing field between you and your native Dutch peers and helping you make a smooth transition to a different education system.
