A unique programme, the MSc Brand Leadership provides the ideal start for a life in branding. Learning directly from the world-leading brand consultancy Wolff Olins (the agency behind Orange, Tate, GE and Unilever), you will also have the opportunity to interact with inspiring, game-changing businesses like Google, Innocent, Brora, Virgin and Oxfam. In addition, visits will be arranged to some of London’s leading creative agencies, such as AMV.BBDO, BBH, FITCH and VCCP.

Students of MSc Brand Leadership have access to some of the top practitioners in the country, who give them advice and experience throughout the programme, and may well continue to be a resource they can call on afterwards; guided by the Professional Course Director, students are asked to choose a mentor; they then meet that mentor four times during the programme; by agreement with their mentor, students may also ask supplementary questions by email; the optional placement gives students real experience of working at a brand consultancy, or in the brand department of an organisation, so they can be confident about going into a branding career after the programme.

This unique programme is the perfect springboard for a career in branding. Over 96% of our graduates have great jobs as brand leaders:

  • 24% in top London consultancies such as Fitch, Heavenly, OMD, VentureThree
  • 24% in consultancies worldwide such as Brand Union, FutureBrand, Publics
  • 44% in big branded business such as Diageo, Google, Johnson & Johnson, plus a Chief Marketing Officer at a law firm
  • 4% running their own businesses

The course is created and taught jointly by university and business people. Working in a team, you'll do a real, in-depth brand project for a real client. You'll create your own personal brand, to kick-start your career. Throughout the year, you get to visit top agencies and branded companies. You get your own personal mentor who's a senior practitioner. You'll get masterclasses with experts in social branding, brand valuation, culture change and innovation. You may get the chance of work experience in a brand consultancy or brand agency.
