There will be opportunities to look at what communities are, how regeneration works in principle and practice and to assess the impact that the strategies and policies of major national and international organisations are having on local communities and environments. Level Three takes a more serious look at regeneration strategy and issues related to neighbourhood management and the changing role of local, regional and national government in their relationship with towns, cities and communities. It will also develop an understanding of the skills required to make community development and regeneration work for a wide range of disadvantaged communities.
