This combined programme enables students to develop their skills in the related areas of textiles and surface pattern; drawing, design, manipulation of materials, printing and computer-aided design are all integral to this course; students develop experimental and creative abilities by exploring multi-media and print processes; there is a designer maker or designer for industry route within this combined degree and students select modules from the interior textiles degree and surface pattern degree to obtain the combined award; the programme combines the disciplines of textiles, surface design, graphics and product design in its applications.
