Course has been designed to cover the scientific and technical knowledge and understanding required to design the built environment to the highest standards which minimise damaging carbon emissions; SAC’s HN courses in Horticulture will develop a general understanding of horticulture together with the practice, theory, knowledge and abilities required by the horticulturist; at HND level, students will be able to specialise in a particular field of horticulture; the HNC Horticulture, also forms year 1 of the HND, and has been developed to provide a strong introduction to practical horticultural skills and abilities; the knowledge and understanding acquired also lay the foundation for possible future study.
