Students study modules in the primary core subjects, the primary non-core subjects and religious education, education and professional studies, and the teaching and subject development of information communication technology and subject co-ordination; students are introduced to a range of innovative strategies through which new technologies are being used in school to enhance learning quality; the course enables students to meet the standards required for Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) on a creative and innovative programme; students who choose the 4 year route have an increased opportunity to follow their particular interests and extend their studies beyond mainstream primary schools, including opportunities to study overseas and gain further experience in specialist settings.
