Programme prepares students for a variety of science- and engineering-related university degree programmes; students choose between the engineering sciences route or the biological sciences route; all students study English language; students on the engineering sciences routes study physics, mathematics and information technology; and students on the biological sciences route study biology and chemistry; biological sciences students also study mathematics and information technology for the first half of the course only; all students on this course receive 6 lessons per week of academic English language tuition; these lessons provide the students with all the English language skills needed to complete the EAP (English for Academic Purposes) unit of the course, as well as giving them support with language related to their subject areas.
