Первые два года студенты обучаются в стенах Экономического факультета МГУ, причем преподавание части курсов идет на английском языке. На третий и четвертый курс студенты уезжают в Университет Джорджа Мейсона и слушают курсы американских профессоров на английском языке. Во время обучения в Университете Джорджа Мейсона студенты приписаны к Школе менеджмента Мейсона (School of Management). По завершении обучения студенты возвращаются в Москву для сдачи выпускных государственных экзаменов и защиты выпускной квалификационной работы, которая выполняется под руководством профессоров экономического факультета МГУ. Курсы, прослушанные в Университете Джорджа Мейсона, автоматически перезачитываются в МГУ, так как учебные планы согласованы обоими университетами. Во время летних каникул между первым и вторым курсом существует возможность поехать на курсы английского языка. Руководство программой осуществляется академической комиссией во главе с Директором и координатором программы в МГУ и Университете Дж. Мейсона.

The building of the Faculty of Economics is situated on Sparrow Hills, in the southwest of Moscow. It is a forested area about five miles southwest from the city centre, which takes about 10 minutes to reach the metro from the university by foot, and it's a 15-minute metro ride to the city centre.
