Study Systems and Control: the future is in your hands
The world of systems and control guides more of our lives than most of us realise. The manufacturing and semiconductor industry, transportation, the medical profession and the family household are increasingly dependent on it. As the world becomes more and more automated, robotic and guided, its impacts will spread even further. It has become an important discipline in many fields, and one in which Dutch researchers play a leading role. Systems and control can be applied to a wide range of systems. Applications can be found in robotics (medical, household and industrial), mechatronic systems such as those used in DVD players, pick-and-place positioning systems as well as in automotive, energy and (chemical) process industries. But also in the realization of ITER, the largest nuclear fusion test reactor in the world.
