The Faculty of Health and Social Care offers a framework of modules and awards to support students in continuing personal and professional development, wherever they work in health and social care; the framework has both work-based and traditionally taught modules; the curriculum has been designed explicitly around specific service user groups such as children or people with coronary heart disease, mental health problems or cancer and also for particular settings such as acute and primary/community care; this focus on service users is supported by an emphasis on interprofessional learning and work.
