The course is designed to provide a learning experience that develops the knowledge and skills required by human resource management specialists who operate in a highly competitive global context; term 1 largely focuses on the CIPD's leadership and management standards, which covers managing resources and information, understanding the contexts within which organisations operate and looking at the role of human resources in organisation success; term 2 covers the CIPD's specialist and generalist professional standards and includes the international personnel and development module to develop human resource knowledge and techniques in an international context; term 3 is devoted to the management report or an individual dissertation.
