The course offers 5 specific pathways: Old testament (this pathway enables students to pursue interest in old testament study at an advanced level; the course comprises 4 modules which enable the grounding in the principles of old testament study as well as the study of old testament literature, theology and canon); new testament (enables students to pursue interest in new testament study at an advanced level; comprises 4 modules which enable the grounding in the principles of new testament study as well as the study of new testament literature and theology); church history (enables students to pursue interest in church history at an advanced level; comprises 4 modules which enable the grounding in the principles of church history as well as the study of movements and institutions, themes and thinkers and the developments during a particular period such as the early church, the reformation or the 20th century); theology (enables students to pursue interest in theology at an advanced level; comprises 4 modules which enable the grounding in the principles of theological study as well as the study of christian doctrine, themes and thinkers and issues in theology); philosophy of religion (enables students to pursue interest in philosophy of religion at an advanced level; comprises 4 modules which enable the grounding in the principles of philosophical study as well as the study of themes and thinkers and issues in philosophy of religion).
