Entry requirements

Undergraduate entry

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry onto a University of West London undergraduate Bachelors degree:

  • Attestat (Certificate of Secondary General Education) and a foundation course such as the International Foundation Programme
  • Diploma of Advanced Specialised Education with a good grade
  • Bakalavr applicants who have completed one year of their Bakalavriat with good grades

International Foundation Programme

UWL offers the International Foundation Programme for students with the Attestat (Certificate of Secondary General Education) with a good grade.

English language requirement for IFP: IELTS 5.0 overall with a minimum of 4.5 in each element (speaking, listening, reading, writing).

Successful completion of the International Foundation Programme enables progression onto an undergraduate course at the University of West London.

Postgraduate entry

Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for entry onto a postgraduate programme:

  • Bachelor degree / Bakalvr
  • PhD entry: a proposal is required in addition to a Masters qualification, Magistr.

Location

West London campus is located in what is widely regarded as being one of the most desirable places in London to live. There is a free bus available to all students which connect the two sites, Ealing and Brentford, just 10 minutes apart. The Berkshire Institute for Health, situated in Reading, is in walking distance of the main railway and bus stations, adjacent to car parking and within easy reach of the town's 'park and ride' bus stops. People come from miles around to sample Reading's shopping and nightlife. With the University of Reading in the same town, there is plenty of entertainment aimed at students and lots to do. You can get to London Paddington by train in less than 30 minutes.
