How to apply

Undergraduate / Bachelor

Entry requirements vary for different programmes. Undergraduate programme applications are taken through the UK's central universities application organization, UCAS.The application process usually starts the September prior to the year of entry. Once you have made your decision you will submit your application to UCAS, by the following January, to a maximum of five shortlisted universities (for UK/EU students). International students can still apply later than January but will need to submit application so that there is enough time to apply and receive student visas.

Postgraduate Taught / Masters

Postgraduate applications are taken online at the specific University’s programme website. The deadline for complete applications for programmes beginning in September is September 1, or January 1 for programmes starting in January. However, it is strongly advised to apply as early as possible. Students applying for scholarships will have much earlier deadlines (depending on the scholarship).

Postgraduate Research / PhD / MPhil

To apply for Research programmes students are advised to contact the department directly. Applications for research degrees may be invited at any time during the year. If you are offered a place on a postgraduate research degree at UWE Bristol you begin your degree on the next available start date.
