Restricted entry; Honours graduate of fire engineering or fire safety programmes; graduate of architectural or engineering courses with 2nd Class Honours; other areas will be considered on merit, but may be required to undertake prior or additional modules to supplement their knowledge of construction and design tools depending on work experience; career professionals with vocational qualifications, or those who are corporate members of professional bodies such as CIBSE, IStructE, RIBA considered; substantial experience at a senior technical management level as building control officer or fire brigade officer (or similar) also considered.
