The main focus of the programme is the exploration of new drugs from their conception in the laboratory to their application and testing and subsequent industrial production; consists of taught elements (90 credits) and a research project and dissertation (90 credits; main themes include: Current theory/practice in chemotherapy; organic synthesis for drug targets; modern methods in drug discovery; host–guest chemistry; drug metabolism and toxicology; additional topics include data processing and presentation; and technology transfer.
