Entry requirements

All applicants to hold an Ordinary or an Honours degree, (not a pass degree) of a British University or its equivalent; applicants must have studied and passed the equivalent of at least 60 credits of psychology at a standard at least equal to Part 2 (Years 2 and 3) of the BPS accredited psychology Honours degree; these credits must be in subjects relevant to the BPS qualifying Examination syllabus and students will not be permitted to study the equivalent modules on the Diploma; applicants must provide evidence of their ability to undertake the research methods modules on the diploma; evidence may comprise successful study on an acceptable course at least equivalent to the research methods module of Part 1 of the undergraduate programme; applicants may be advised on any additional preparatory study necessary in this area and/or be asked to complete an assessment to establish their current levels of skills and knowledge.
