Where: Tempe campus
Program structure: students are placed in the appropriate track for their intended degree: Business, Engineering or Global Management.
Program content: 21 hours of class time (3 courses) per week.
All students take courses in graduate reading, presentation and communication skills, in addition to a writing course specialized for their track.
The courses do not carry academic credit.
Modules
With IGPP, you can study at ASU for 10 weeks while you strengthen your English proficiency to meet the requirements of your conditional admission to:
- Master’s degrees in W. P. Carey School of Business (except MBAs)
- Master of Global Management in Thunderbird School
- Master’s degrees in Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering (includes computing and technology)
When you pass IGPP, you can progress to your ASU master’s degree.
Entry requirements
Receive “admission with deficiencies” to a master’s degree in ASU’s Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, W. P. Carey School of Business or Thunderbird School of Global Management.
Progression: to move into a master’s degree, achieve 80% average on all IGPP assignments.
