Statistics is an important tool in many areas of empirical science. This Master’s degree programme, which should follow a Bachelor’s degree programme in a natural science or technical discipline, provides an opportunity to further develop statistical thinking and methods and gain an overview of the most important models and procedures. Students also learn more about the quantitative methods of their own disciplines. The programme offers specialisations in Statistical Methodology, Applied Statistics and Biostatistics.
