This course offers psychodynamic insights into the psychology of both the individual and the organisation; it combines basic psychoanalytic theory and counselling techniques with organisational theory; it is a practical course of interest to people wishing to develop an understanding of themselves and others and especially to anyone who is working with change in organisations, who is responsible for the management of others and/or who is working in the caring professions; students are encouraged to develop observational skills and to increase self-knowledge in relation to professional tasks; a 3-day group relations weekend exploring organisational dynamics is included; modules are not available individually and must be taken in the correct order.
