Cambridge: College

When applying, pay special attention to the choice of College, a place where You have to. This is important from the point of view of comfort of Your stay in the University, and obtain additional financing while training to attend conferences and other trips related to Your studies and/or research.

The Cambridge colleges vary in location, living conditions and organization of life students. Only 31 Cambridge College. Not to be mistaken with the choice, we suggest You to carefully examine the sites of the colleges, paying particular attention to the following characteristics:

Academic support for students (advice about the educational process),
Academic support and resources (library collection and electronic resources, exchange of experience through informal activities),
Accommodation and food
The possibility of financial support,
Social activities
Additional opportunities and resources
Administrative support throughout the learning process (arrival and registration at the University, preparation of documents, including for more funding, etc.
The conditions of admission,
The total number of students
The percentage of enrolment of students (showing what % of students from the total number of applicants were accepted to College – the higher it is, the more prestigious is the College),
The annual cost.

During apply You can specify the College you want to go the most (first choice college), and second, "fall back" option (second choice college). If the candidate does not pass in entered in the registration form colleges, the University sends application form to the colleges where space is at its discretion.

About getting a place in College You will be notified by separate correspondence; this information will also appear in Your personal office on the website of the University. After confirmation of Your seat in College, You will not be able to choose another College.
