This course allows students to be immersed in radio and television news and thinking like a broadcast journalist right from the start; students discover how broadcast techniques work on the web; at the heart of the course are newsdays, where students work together to produce radio and television bulletins under conditions that simulate a professional newsroom; they suggest their own stories, follow up others and are always working against the clock; many of these newsdays are led by working journalists from around the region.
