This programme combines the study of law with the continued development of the student's existing language skills; in the years spent in Sheffield, the split between the law and the language components is two thirds law and one third language; in the 2nd year students' study a module on the law and legal system of France, taught, studied and examined in French; students spend their 3rd year abroad studying in the law faculty of a linked European university; on returning to Sheffield for their 4th and final year, they complete their study of the core law modules and undertake a range of optional subjects.
