The University has negotiated an agreement with the université stendhal-grenoble III, whereby for 2 years of postgraduate study, 1 in canterbury and 1 in Grenoble and in either order, applicants can gain a double qualification – a Kent MA by research in French (or in Comparative Literary Studies depending on thesis subject) and a French 2-year ‘Master’s’; the pattern of study, whether begun in canterbury or grenoble, will be intensive coursework in literature and methodological training in year 1 and, alongside some methodological training, intensive research for a thesis (approximately 100 pages) with appropriate supervision in year 2.

The University of Kent has three campuses in the UK, situated in Canterbury, Medway, and Tonbridge. It also has sites in Europe, at Paris, Brussels and Athens.

The main campus- Canterbury campus is built on 300 acres of parkland and is less than 25 minutes’ walk from the historic cathedral city of Canterbury.
