Aims of the programme: To critically explore the conceptual, contextual and technical processes of convergent media forms, from concept to delivery; to develop time management and communication skills within the discipline; to develop innovative narrative structures within convergent digital forms; to gain a theoretical and practical understanding of existing and emerging interactive delivery systems; to critically examine the convergence of all types of digital media and interoperable platforms; students gain an appreciation of the management of interactive media projects and will be given an understanding of the full process of interactive media creation from the seeds of an idea, through to the quality testing and delivery of an artefact; the CDP counts as 30 credits at Master's level.
