The main entry point for the Academic Preparation Programme is September, with students being admitted exceptionally in January and April. Students are not required to have completed secondary school, but should provide the APP team with official transcripts of previous study translated into English and at least 2 recommendations from their most recent school. Students will be interviewed in person when possible or via Skype for overseas students.
For entry, you must hold a minimum documented IELTS grade of 4 with 4 in all four skills, but it is recommended that you hold an IELTS grade of 5.0 overall.
Those who wish to enrol should complete and submit our on-line registration form below. There is a £350 registration fee which may be paid by credit/debit card or wire transfer.
References must be submitted to OTC directly, and will not be accepted if included as part of the application pack. Other application materials will be requested shortly after your initial application. After all your documents are received, a member of the APP team will inspect your academic qualifications and references, and will contact you to arrange an in-person or telephone interview.
The main college premises are in King Edward Street with three further sites within walking distance, all in the heart of the university precinct.King Edward Street is off Oxford High Street and about 200 yards East of Carfax. It is easy to find but the following map and directions may be helpful.
